USDA-ARS Technology Transfer ProgramUSDA-ARS technology transfer provides a means for moving promising technologies discovered through federal and university research into the public arena where they are developed into marketable products. USDA-ARS accomplishes this by forming partnerships with universities and private sector businesses.

Food Retailers
Food safety and security are essential concerns for food retailers of all sizes. CIFT strives to serve this important part of the food chain by providing educational and technical resources to address the specific concerns of food retailers. Our work with technical service providers has kept us involved with food safety research that benefits the food service industry.
Our qualified CIFT personnel can develop and present educational seminars for your organization or a group of interested parties in food retailing. These programs include 1-hour seminars, half-day and whole day workshops for the target audience. Depending on the audience and its needs the topics covered can include:
