The Fresh Sheet
Return to Local Initiatives Page
The program publishes a Fresh Sheet which is available on this web site and distributed weekly to chefs through e-mail, RSS news feed or fax. The Fresh Sheet lists local, in-season produce available for purchase from area farmers in the program. It includes fruits and vegetables, meat, poultry, eggs, honey, jams and jellies, flowers, and even culinary herbs along with contact information for prices and delivery.
The Fresh Sheet changes as produce changes throughout the Northwest Ohio season. The web-based version provides the latest information and the email, RSS, and fax versions are published on Monday afternoons through October.
Under this program, chefs are under no obligation to purchase from any of the farmers and can cancel at any time. Likewise, farmers may join or cancel at any time.
There are a variety of ways to obtain the Fresh Sheet:
Please Note: If at any time you wish to stop receiving the Fresh Sheet, let us know. To unsubscribe from the email Fresh Sheet, please send a reply to NWOFN Fresh Sheet with the word UNSUBSCRIBE included in the subject line. We will promptly remove your name and send a confirmation of removal.
