Beck Chosen as President and CEO of EISC, Inc.

David Beck has been selected by EISC’s governing board to be the next president and CEO of EISC, Inc., succeeding Julian Gravino, who is retiring July 31, 2008.  Beck is currently Executive Vice President at EISC, Inc., and Director of its Center for Innovative Food Technology.

Beck brings 16 years of experience with EISC and CIFT.  He previously held positions at Dinner Bell Foods and Campbell Soup Company and brings a wealth of knowledge in the food processing industry.

He received a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Toledo.

EISC’s Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) program serves the agricultural and food industries in Ohio and beyond, and was created to specifically address quality and safety issues in the food processing and packaging industries as well as energy efficiency in agricultural industries.
