NW Ohio Ag Breakfast Forum to Feature Ohio Wine Industry Issues and Updates

The CIFT monthly agricultural breakfast forum takes place on Thursday, July 16, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Agricultural Incubator Foundation, 13737 Middleton Pike, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 and will focus on the Ohio wine industry and programs that promote Ohio wines to consumers.

Whether it’s love at first sight, or love at first sip, Ohio wines have a lot to offer. Christy Eckstein, Executive Director of the Ohio Grape Industries Committee (OGIC), will update the audience on the wine and grape industry in Ohio and provide information on new programs and services for those interested in Ohio wineries. Ms. Eckstein has been with the Ohio Department of Agriculture since 2001 and has worked with various marketing programs, such as Ohio Proud. A guest winemaker will also be available to discuss industry issues important to Ohio wine and grape producers.

If you are a farmer, agribusiness owner, or supporter of Ohio’s agricultural economy, join us on the third Thursday each month from 7:30-9:00 a.m. for breakfast and informal networking opportunities. Cost is $10 per person. Sorry, no credit cards accepted; cash or check only. Each month will feature a different speaker and topic. For more information and to register, please contact Paula Ray at 419-823-3099, or pray@eisc.org.
