What is RSS?
RSS, (Really Simple Syndication) pushes web-based content down to your computer. An RSS feed contains headlines, summaries and links to full news stories on a web site.
What is an RSS Reader?
RSS readers (or aggregators) are small software programs that aggregate RSS feeds and display the story information. They allow you to scan headlines from hundreds of news sources in a central location.
Where Can I Get an RSS Reader?
Many news readers are available for free. RSS aggregation is built into modern web browsers, such Mac OS X Tiger's Safari, Windows Internet Explorer 7.0, and the cross-platform browser, Firefox 2. You can also choose to install and use a standalone RSS reader such as these below:
